The madonnari have returned to the square in Maderno to celebrate the patronal feast dedicated to Ercolano, which will conclude on Monday, August 12. During the event, participants created works of art using handmade paper from Toscolano, displaying them for a public vote. The work of master madonnara Michela Vicini was declared the winner.
The artworks will remain on display the following day in the square and at the Pro Loco headquarters, where they will be available for purchase. Additionally, the group of madonnari will participate in the Ferragosto festival in Curtatone, thus continuing the artistic tradition linked to the local culture.
