Three men have been arrested by the Carabinieri of Peschiera del Garda in connection with an aggravated robbery that took place at the money transfer service “One Up” on August 9. The arrests, made on the morning of Friday, November 22, involved two Brazilian nationals and one Italian, aged between 33 and 50 years. Investigations revealed that one of the robbers, armed and masked, had struck the agency’s owner with the butt of a gun, causing injuries deemed to require 12 days to heal, before fleeing with approximately 12,000 euros in cash on a stolen motorcycle.
The investigations conducted by the Carabinieri led to the collection of significant evidence, including an analysis of surveillance camera footage and fingerprints left at the crime scene. Thanks to this evidence, it was possible to identify a third accomplice who assisted in the robbers’ escape. The Judicial Authority subsequently issued a detention order for all three suspects, who have been transferred to their respective correctional facilities at the disposal of the judiciary.
