Art and culture continue to attract an ever-increasing number of visitors to the MuSa Museum of Salò, where the exhibition “From Splendor to Uncertainty 1910 | 1950 – Stories from a Private Collection” has exceeded expectations in terms of attendance. This event, showcasing over fifty significant works from the Italian 20th century, is open until December 1, 2024, and has already set a record for visitor numbers compared to the same period last year.

The exhibition, curated by Federica Bolpagni, Lisa Cervigni, and Anna Lisa Ghirardi, features an exclusive selection of works from a renowned Brescia collection. Initially scheduled to run until the first week of September, the initiative experienced such success that the organizers decided to extend its duration into the late autumn. This decision has proven to be fruitful, contributing to surpassing 15,000 visitors since the museum’s seasonal opening at the end of March.

Lisa Cervigni, director of MuSa, commented on the positive outcome: “Last year, we recorded approximately 16,500 visitors from the end of March 2023 to January 7, 2024. Our challenge this year was to maintain this excellent result and possibly improve it with an attractive program.” The current trend suggests that this goal will be met, with around 2,000 more visitors compared to the same period in 2023.

With the seasonal closure set for January 7, 2025, the museum appears to be on track to replicate and exceed past successes thanks to well-structured and engaging cultural events like this exhibition dedicated to the history of Italian art in the first half of the 20th century.
