Peschiera del Garda, wastewater treatment plant, Ministry resources: The Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport has recently announced the approval of an amendment to the Infrastructure Decree during the examination by the Environment and Transport Commissions of the Chamber. This decision provides for the allocation of new resources for the completion of works related to the water and sewage system of the primary collector on the Veronese shore of the lake. The intervention aims to restructure the sewage collector that currently manages the wastewater from the Brescia side, transferring it to the Peschiera del Garda treatment plant, with the goal of improving water management.
Additionally, the project includes the creation of a new aqueduct backbone that will connect the distribution networks of the municipalities along the Veronese shore, which are currently isolated. This intermodal system is designed to optimize the supply, treatment, and distribution of drinking water in the area.
