Lake Garda is preparing to host a new edition of the Pan Festival, which this year revolves around the theme of “Affinities”. From June 28th to 30th, the event will animate the spaces of the Seesaw House on Alberti Lutti Street and the Rocca in Battisti Square, offering a varied program of artistic and philosophical events.

The Pan Festival, also known as the Philosophy Art and Nature Festival, is an event dedicated to visual arts, dance, theater, poetry, and music, integrating symposia, conferences, and philosophical workshops. Each year, the festival focuses on a specific theme; for 2024, the concept of affinity will be explored. This theme aims to investigate human relationships not only through blood ties but also through emotional and spiritual connections.

Friday, June 28th: Inauguration with Art and Culture
The opening day of the festival will take place at the Seesaw House. Starting at 7:00 pm, the event will begin with an introduction to the theme of the current edition. This will be followed by the presentation of the podcast “I Have a Dream” by cultural explorers Samuele Diquigiovanni and Carla Vargiu. The evening will culminate with the theater and dance performance “Laundrette”, curated by the Alla Ribalta/Seesaw Project.

Saturday, June 29th: A Mix of Creative Activities
Saturday will be a day full of activities at the Rocca. The morning will start with literary meetings organized by the association I Lari to talk about the world of neurodiversity. This will be followed by classical dance lessons on the lake taught by Maestro Matteo Corbetta. In the afternoon, various creative workshops will come to life in the Rocca park, including “Ommo Lab”, a workshop that combines design and nature, and “Mille e una farfalle sognanti”, dedicated to ceramics for all ages.

The evening will feature artistic performances such as “Contrappunti dall’oceano” by Livia Bartolucci and Prem Sergio Tosi, followed by a theater performance in tribute to Michela Murgia titled “Dare la vita”. The night will conclude with contemporary dance performances and a final DJ set.

Sunday, June 30th: Conclusion with Art
The last day of the festival will continue in the same vein as the previous days with literary meetings on the universe of neurodiversity organized by the association I Lari at the Alto Garda Museum. Morning classical dance lessons will again be offered by Maestro Corbetta.

In the afternoon, interactive workshops such as “With Love”, which explores individual and social conflicts through movement, will be held by Beatrice Botticini Bianchi at the Seesaw House. The Rocca park will also host the performance “Corruption” by the Hephaestus company and the sensory installation “Arcipelago”.

The final evening will begin with the official introduction to the Pan Festival at 8:00 pm, followed by the performance “Down” by the Clochart Collective. The event will conclude with an informal discussion accompanied by the presentation of the book “Desiderio” by Valeria Bizzari.

Throughout the festival, there will be food stands in the Rocca park offered by various local entities such as Cantiere 26 and Nappitello, as well as cultural and exploratory communities that will further enrich the participants’ experience.

With this diverse program, the Pan Festival promises three intense days where art, philosophy, and cultural exploration will converge to celebrate the multiple facets of human affinities.
