Regional and Local Collaboration Supports Vulnerable Communities in Cornuda
Start of the agreement and participants
On the day of June 1996 entries, an agreement was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable populations.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which lasts two years, mainly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European community funds.
Activities and expected objectives
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Social transport services, support services, listening centers, and gathering places will also be enhanced.

the Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives, ensuring surveillance and coordination services among the different involved components.
