On Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 10:30 AM, the presentation of the book “The Rivoltella Vocational Training Center of Desenzano del Garda (1961-1985)” written by Alberto Anselmi will take place at the Angelo Anelli Civic Library in Villa Brunati, Desenzano del Garda. This volume provides an important historical overview of the evolution of the Rivoltella Vocational Training Center, which played a crucial role in the professional preparation of local youth.

A Journey Through Time

The book serves as a significant testament to the activities conducted in the first twenty-four years of the institute, enriched with photographs and narratives that evoke the work of the historic director. Through a commented photographic review, the text explores over two decades of vocational training, contextualizing the educational journey within the social and economic dynamics of the time.

The Author and His Contribution

Alberto Anselmi, who directed the Center from 1963 to 1985, is a recognized expert in local history and vocational training. His research on the historical documentation of educational institutions in the region has provided a valuable contribution to the enhancement of the historical memory of Desenzano del Garda and its educational realities. His publications have facilitated a deeper understanding of the impact these institutions have had on the local society and economy.

Institutional Interventions

During the event, Cristina Pollini, the current director of the Rivoltella Vocational Training Center, will also speak, delving into themes related to vocational training in the contemporary context. The Mayor of Desenzano del Garda, Guido Malinverno, will also be present to offer his institutional greetings and reaffirm the importance of investments in education and the professional growth of young people.

An Event Not to Be Missed

This presentation will not only celebrate the history of a fundamental educational institution for the territory but will also provide an opportunity to reflect on the importance of training as an essential tool for the personal and social growth of young people.
