A traffic accident shook the afternoon of Monday, October 27, along the SP74 in the municipality of Monzambano. Around 3 PM, a violent collision occurred involving a heavy vehicle and a car, with an 88-year-old man from Pozzolengo behind the wheel of the latter. According to initial information provided by the Carabinieri of Volta Mantovana, who were called to the scene for the necessary investigations, the impact took place on a straight stretch of the road. The elderly man sustained several injuries but is not believed to be in life-threatening condition; after being assisted by emergency services, he was transported in yellow code to the civil hospital in Mantova for further examinations.
