In recent days, the costs for umbrellas and sunbeds on the beaches of Salò and Toscolano Maderno have reached high levels, with prices ranging from 20 to 60 euros per day, depending on location and services offered. During this Ferragosto week, renting an umbrella with two sunbeds can cost up to 60 euros in the front rows of Maderno, while other areas like Villa di Gargnano and Tignale have more affordable prices around 25 euros. Despite the increases in some areas, the Lower Garda region has maintained stable or even reduced rates, attracting bathers to the free beaches.
The owner of the Giulietta al Lago beach club in Rivoltella has noted a decrease in the number of bathers compared to previous years, suggesting that many tourists prefer to bring their lunch from home to save money. While attendance has remained stable compared to previous years, there has been a decline in German clientele, offset by an increase from Poland and the Czech Republic. Nonetheless, the outlook for Ferragosto seems positive, despite the challenges posed by the economic situation and weather conditions.
