On the occasion of the Republic Day on June 2, the Historical Museum of the Blue Ribbon Foundation in Salò will host a ceremony to honor its supporters. The event will take place starting at 3:30 PM in the Hall of the Provveditori at the Town Hall, where merit certificates will be awarded to approximately ten individuals, families, and cultural institutions that have contributed to the Foundation’s support. The ceremony will conclude with a visit to the museum, where new historical artifacts will be showcased, including significant documents provided by the Provincial Section of Brescia of the National Association of Maimed and War Invalids.
The Foundation preserves an important heritage related to national wars from 1848 to 1945, which includes historical artifacts, a specialized library, and a rich archive. During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to admire the display cases dedicated to the artifacts and the history of local communities, highlighting the importance of the contributions received for the enhancement of historical memory.
