The Garda Musical Summer is gearing up for a highly anticipated event with the concert “Morricone Rarities,” scheduled for Friday, July 25, 2025, at 9:30 PM in Piazza Duomo in Salò. Following a successful preview by the lakeside, the festival will come to life under the direction of maestro Marco Serino, renowned for his twenty-year collaboration with the legendary composer Ennio Morricone, along with a performance by the Orchestra of Padua and Veneto, one of Italy’s most prestigious ensembles. Single tickets are still available, while subscriptions for the entire festival are already sold out. In case of inclement weather, the event will be held inside the Duomo.
On the afternoon of the same day, at 6 PM in the Sala dei Provveditori, there will be a free meeting with Marco Morricone, the son of the famous composer, who will engage in a conversation with Roberta Ghirardi about the book “Ennio Morricone: The Genius, the Man, the Father,” co-written with Valerio Cappelli. Ticket presales are currently active at the Infopoint in Piazza S. Antonio.
