Salò Golosa 2026 concluded with excellent results on Sunday, September 27, transforming the historic center, squares, lakefront, and the Gulf of Salò into an extraordinary open-air restaurant. From noon to 4:00 PM, participants enjoyed specialized tasting paths dedicated to ‘Earth’ and ‘Water’, featuring culinary proposals from local restaurants and pastry shops paired with Valtenesi wines.
An International Audience for Local Excellence
For the organizers, the most significant achievement was the diverse audience that participated with the “Passaporto del Buon Gusto” (Passport of Good Taste). The event welcomed both young food enthusiasts and long-time attendees, including Italian locals and international visitors arriving from Germany, Austria, the United States, and even Brazil.
Among the most highly appreciated experiences was the tasting session aboard the historic Veliero Circe 1915 on the waters of the gulf. The tasting paths wound through the historic center, allowing visitors to savor local delicacies just steps away from monumental landmarks such as the Duomo di Salò. Students from the Caterina de’ Medici Hotel School actively participated, while the Rusty Brass Band provided live musical entertainment through the streets and squares.
Organizers and the Next Edition
The culinary event was conceived and organized by the Pro Loco of Salò, led by president GianLuca Banalotti, alongside members Giulia Banalotti and Emanuela Pasotti. Artistic direction and logistics were entrusted to chef Carlo Bresciani and his team. Following the success of this year, the Pro Loco has already scheduled the next appointment for 2027, continuing to promote the rich enogastronomic heritage of the Lake Garda region.
