The summer in Salò, a picturesque town on Lake Garda, is being enriched with exciting new initiatives that promise to attract both residents and tourists. The Municipal Administration, in collaboration with the Pro Loco “Città di Salò” led by Nicola Tranquilli, has announced two new events that will expand the already rich summer calendar.

The program of events in Salò now includes two evenings dedicated to live music as part of the “Salò in Musica” festival. The dates to mark on the calendar are July 18th and August 22nd. During these evenings, the historic center will transform into an open-air stage where visitors can enjoy performances ranging from pop to rock. These initiatives have already been very successful in previous editions, attracting a large audience of both locals and tourists.

The real novelty of the summer will be the “Salò Street Food Festival,” a four-day event entirely dedicated to street food delights. From August 3rd to 6th, Piazza Serenissima will become the heart of the event, hosting a variety of food trucks and gastronomic stands from different parts of the world. Visitors will have the opportunity to taste typical international dishes, accompanied by good music and a festive atmosphere.

Mayor Francesco Cagnini and Councilor Andrea Battani expressed enthusiasm for the new additions to the summer calendar: “In addition to relaunching the successful and always appreciated ‘Salò in Musica’ initiative with two new evenings – they stated – the summer events calendar now includes a new entry with the ‘Salò Street Food Festival,’ four days dedicated to street food that aim to involve residents and tourists in a moment of conviviality and aggregation, with particular attention to young people and families.”
