The 40th edition of the Salò Sail Meeting concluded on Sunday, July 13, a historic event in the Garda sailing calendar organized by the Società Canottieri Garda. The competition featured 25 boats on the water, including 12 Protagonists, 8 Fun boats, and 5 Meteors, all competing under a steady wind of 9 knots. The overall victory of the Salò Sail Meeting Trophy went to Casper, helmed by Lorenza Mariani, who managed to overturn her initial third position. Also on the podium were El Moro and General Lee, both crewed by members of the organizing club.
The regatta attracted attention for its competitive spirit and the skill of the crews, reaffirming its status as one of the most anticipated events of the summer on the lake. Among the other classes awarded, Wanderfundi emerged victorious among the Fun boats, while Synergos triumphed in the Meteor category. The organization received praise from president Nicola Benedetti for the impeccable management of the event, which successfully blends tradition and spectacle within the local sailing scene.
