Sea’s Interest in Acquiring Brescia-Montichiari Airport
At Sea in Milan, there is interest in becoming a shareholder of the Montichiari airport. An interest, truthfully not new, which yesterday President Giancarlo Fossa explicitly stated.
Regarding possible acquisitions of the Milanese airport company, Fossa reiterated his interest “in all regional airports with significant traffic volumes.” Sea is interested in the Brescia-Montichiari company?
“The Brescia airport,” Fossa replied, “has a concession that is currently held by the Verona airport. If the capital of the airport company were to be opened up to private investors, I believe it would be fair for the Brescia industrialists and economic sector to play an important role.
If Sea were to enter this operation, it would do so through a company in which it has a stake, which is Sacbo (the company that manages the Bergamo Orio al Serio airport).”
