Lonato del Garda, July 29, 2024 – The Biblò venue has been seized by law enforcement following a joint operation that took place on the night of July 28. The operation involved the State Police, Carabinieri, Financial Police, and SIAE, and was prompted by administrative irregularities related to the musical entertainment activities the venue was conducting without the necessary permits. Just fifteen days after its opening, the owner had already been warned by the mayor to cease the unauthorized activities.
The seizure comes in the wake of a violent armed brawl that occurred near the venue on July 21. During the inspection, officers found numerous patrons, many with criminal records, dancing and drinking to the music of an unlicensed DJ. The authorities thus decided to seal off the Biblò to ensure public safety and enforce existing regulations.
