The recent seizure of the **Biblò di Lonato**, a well-known establishment on Lake Garda, has raised concerns regarding the safety and legality of nightlife activities in the area. The operation stemmed from violent events that occurred last week, when brawls were reported outside the venue, culminating in a fight between groups of foreigners that resulted in five individuals being stabbed. Those involved were subsequently transported to the hospital in Desenzano for necessary treatment.
In the aftermath of these incidents, law enforcement launched a thorough investigation into the **Biblò**, discovering that the venue was operating under a license limited to the sale of food and beverages. However, its actual operation was that of a nightclub, complete with a dance floor and live performances, thus categorizing it as illegal. This situation attracted the attention of the Brescia police headquarters, which decided to intervene with the seizure of the establishment.
Mayor Tardani had already taken measures against the management of Biblò, issuing a warning to halt unauthorized activities related to “public performances and any other form of entertainment.” Despite this, the venue’s owner had not complied with these directives and continued to host dance events. During the inspection carried out by the relevant authorities, it was revealed that a DJ was performing without the necessary license.
The irregularities found during the inspection led to the establishment being sealed off at 5:30 in the morning.
