A 44-year-old man died this morning, July 16th, in Sirmione after suffering a health emergency while cycling. The incident occurred around 9 a.m. on Via San Martino della Battaglia, in the Colombare district. Despite the prompt intervention of emergency services, including an ambulance, a medical car, and a helicopter, there was nothing that could be done for the man; resuscitation attempts were unsuccessful.
The local police from Desenzano also arrived at the scene to carry out investigations. The tragedy has shaken the local community, once again highlighting the importance of prompt emergency response and maintaining good health during physical activities such as cycling.
