The Museums Subscription celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, representing one of the most effective cultural tools at the national level. In Lombardy, where the initiative has been active for ten years, there are currently 230 accessible sites, thanks to the 215,000 subscribers who can enjoy a rich cultural landscape that ranges from the major museums in Milan to the villas of Varese, as well as the lesser-known treasures of the valleys and lakes. The regional councilor for Culture, Francesca Caruso, emphasized the importance of this initiative in enhancing not only the most famous institutions but also the places that tell the story of the local area.
The card is valid for 365 days from the date of purchase and offers various options, including a junior version dedicated to children aged 6 to 13. This project aims to make culture accessible from a young age, with the goal of integrating it into the daily lives of young Lombard residents. With such significant numbers, Councilor Caruso reiterated the commitment of the Lombardy Region to support this initiative in promoting a widespread and lived culture throughout the territory.
