The Municipality of Sirmione has announced that by the end of the year, the municipal pharmacy will relocate to a larger facility situated next to the current one. During the transition period, the existing pharmacy will remain operational, and there will be designated parking available for users of the new facility. The goal of the local administration, in collaboration with the Special Company of Sirmione, is to provide modern and accessible healthcare services, promoting health and well-being in the area. Mayor Luisa Lavelli emphasized the importance of the “Pharmacy of Services” as an opportunity to reduce inequalities and bring healthcare closer to citizens.
The new location will enable the pharmacy to further develop its capabilities, integrating services beyond mere medication dispensing. Director Camilla De Stanchina is pursuing a master’s degree in the pharmacy of services to maximize these potentials. President Elisabetta Bombana highlighted the pharmacy’s determination to address current challenges through screenings and telemedicine, actively collaborating with healthcare professionals to meet the community’s needs. The Municipal Administration assures a swift completion of the works and thanks the citizens for their trust.
