The weekend of July 27 promises to be filled with sporting events in the provinces surrounding Lake Garda, featuring a series of activities ranging from running to triathlon, sailing to cycling. Among the main events is the 39th edition of the Trans Benaco Cruise Race, scheduled for July 26 and 27 in Portese, an important regatta that attracts enthusiasts from all over Italy. On Friday, July 25, Molinetto will host the 8th Tapasciata de l’alto naviglio, while Villanuova will kick off the 4th Hill Walking event at 6:30 PM, linked to the Country Festival.
Sunday will see several competitions taking place: in Cimbergo, the Memorial Walter Bassi will feature a competitive 7 km race starting at 9:00 AM, while Caregno will host the self-managed trail “Gir de le Malghe,” offering routes of 22 or 15 km beginning at 8:30 AM. In Desenzano, the Corsa di Sant’Anna will provide courses of 4.5 and 8 km, starting at 9:00 AM in the Vaccarolo area. Finally, Botticino will welcome the Botticino XC Challenge, an event dedicated to mountain bike enthusiasts.
