In the early afternoon of Sunday, July 13, the carabinieri were called to a supermarket in Moniga del Garda following a report of an ongoing theft. A 35-year-old man, a local resident, attempted to leave the store with items concealed in a bag without paying for them. However, the supermarket staff noticed his suspicious behavior and alerted the authorities.
Officers from the Gardone Riviera station quickly arrived at the scene and arrested the man in the act. The stolen goods were fully recovered and returned to the store. This incident marks yet another theft recorded in recent weeks in the area, highlighting a concerning trend of criminal activity in the region.
