Camilla Monga, a renowned choreographer and dancer, has announced a culturally significant event that will take place at the Riviera Beach Club in Punta San Vigilio, located on the stunning shores of Lake Garda. The title of the performance is “Swan”, a modern reinterpretation of the famous work “The Dying Swan,” originally performed by the Russian étoile Anna Pavlova and choreographed by Michel Fokine, accompanied by the music of composer Camille Saint-Saëns.
Show Details
The event features a diverse artistic ensemble composed of dancers, musicians, and composers. The evening will begin with a monologue performed by Margherita Varricchio, an actress trained at the Paolo Grassi School of Dramatic Art. Her performance will humorously and entertainingly explore the symbolic figure of the swan, drawing on literary insights provided by writer Margherita Monga, president of the La Rumarola Theater Company in Garda.

Following the theatrical introduction, the spotlight will shift to musical compositions inspired by the works of Saint-Saëns, created by jazz singer Valentina Fin. Finally, the climax of the performance will feature dancers Giulia Quacqueri, Michela Pegoraro, and Marta Masiero. Camilla Monga has emphasized the importance of collaborating with students from the Paolo Grassi School of Dramatic Art in Milan for the realization of this cultural event.
