Over the past weekend, the Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Brescia intensified their territorial controls in the area of Lake Garda, focusing on locations with high tourist traffic and nightlife spots. On the evening of Saturday, July 5, operations by the Companies of Desenzano del Garda and Salò led to the identification of over 300 individuals, resulting in two arrests for driving under the influence and three reports to the Prefecture for possession of hashish. Additionally, in Lonato del Garda, a man and a woman were reported for robbery after assaulting the owner of a supermarket during a theft.
On the following evening, Sunday, July 6, in Toscolano Maderno, the military reported two young Albanians at liberty, who were found in possession of burglary tools and stolen goods that included valuables and 3200 euros in cash. Investigations are currently underway to return the stolen items to their rightful owners.
