Territory Control in Desenzano del Garda: Public Safety Guaranteed

On Thursday, **Desenzano del Garda** witnessed a significant **territorial control** operation, organized in response to the increase in summer tourist flow. Under the direction of the Chief of Police of the Province of Brescia, Paolo Sartori, the operation involved various law enforcement agencies, including the Crime Prevention Unit and the Local Police. The areas that were closely monitored included the train station, the lakeside promenade, and Piazza Garibaldi, with extensions to Sirmione, Pozzolengo, and Lonato. During the operation, 214 individuals were identified, of which 85 were foreigners; four public establishments were inspected, and one was sanctioned for administrative irregularities.

Among the notable outcomes, a thirty-year-old was found in possession of hashish and was referred to the Prefecture for further measures. The checks revealed numerous violations that are now subject to investigation by the relevant offices. This intervention is part of a broader plan aimed at ensuring **public safety**, preventing crime, and promoting compliance with existing regulations. The Chief of Police confirmed that such controls will continue throughout the summer to maintain a safe environment and protect citizens.
