Desenzano del Garda, supermarket theft: woman arrested. On the afternoon of Monday, June 9, the Carabinieri of the Operational and Mobile Unit of the local Company intervened at a supermarket in the area to apprehend a woman accused of attempted theft. The woman attempted to steal several bottles of spirits without paying, but was noticed by security personnel as she tried to leave. In her attempt to escape, she reacted aggressively, pushing one of the staff members.
Thanks to a prompt report to the Operations Center, a patrol of Carabinieri quickly arrived on the scene and apprehended the woman a short distance from the supermarket. After recovering the stolen goods, the officers took her to the station for identification, revealing that she was already known to law enforcement due to previous reports and was subject to a preventive measure. The woman was detained pending a direct trial before the judge.
