Two individuals have been arrested for theft of alcoholic beverages and perfumes at the shopping center in Desenzano del Garda. The incident occurred near the “Le Vele” Shopping Center, where officers from the State Police, during a routine check, noticed a man exhibiting suspicious behavior inside a car. After attempting to flee, the individual was apprehended and searched; bottles of alcohol and cosmetic products stolen shortly before were found in the vehicle. A second accomplice, identified as a homeless Moroccan citizen, was detained while trying to leave a Lidl supermarket with unpaid merchandise. Both offenders have been reported to the Public Prosecutor’s Office for theft and receiving stolen goods. The Police Chief, Paolo Sartori, has issued an Order of Removal from the National Territory against the Moroccan and has imposed a Mandatory Expulsion Order for the Romanian, prohibiting his return to Desenzano del Garda for three years. This action underscores the commitment of law enforcement to public safety, addressing even non-violent crimes that harm the local community with seriousness. Italian Version
