Tinazzi Unveils 2025 Sustainability Plan Focused on Water Conservation and Renewable Energy

Tinazzi has released its 2025 Sustainability Report highlighting progress in environmental, social, and economic initiatives. Key actions include planting 6,000 Souvignier Gris (PIWI) vines, implementing Trapview insect monitoring technology, and developing natural tannins from grape residues through the Longevitis project with experts from Fondazione Edmund Mach.

The company has also improved efficiency by reducing water withdrawals by 40% and sludge disposal by 68% using MBR treatment, increased self-produced solar energy by 71.8% to 119 MWh, and shifted 41.6% of production to lighter glass bottles (550 g). Social initiatives involve supporting Città in Fiore, employment projects with Cooperativa La Quercia, scholarships with Istituto Tusini, and conservation collaborations with Jonian Dolphin Conservation. Tinazzi will showcase wines at Vinitaly from April 12-15 at Verona Fiere, as part of its ongoing ESG integration.
