In the charming neighborhood of Cittadella in Lonato del Garda, on Saturday, July 20th, a unique event called “Cittadella in Bianco” will take place. Organized by the local Pro Loco, this initiative invites participants to experience an evening of autonomy and creativity, with a common theme: the color white.
Located in the heart of Lonato’s ZTL area, the dinner does not involve traditional service but directly involves participants in the preparation and set-up. Guests are asked to bring everything they need from home: tables, chairs, white tablecloths, ceramic plates, glass glasses, and stainless steel cutlery. Plastic is banned to ensure a refined and ecological experience.
To participate in the evening, it is essential to respect some simple rules:
– Wear strictly white clothing.
– Bring tables and chairs from home.
– Use white tablecloths and non-disposable tableware.
– Decorate your table with flowers, ribbons, candles, or balloons.
– Prepare food and drinks independently.
– At the end of the event (by midnight), each participant must clean up the area used without leaving any traces.
The evening will be enriched by live music thanks to the DJ set by Diego Frera. A distinctive element for the 2024 edition will be the presence of a decorative white swan on each table.
The organizers explain that the main objective is to create a convivial situation that promotes interaction among citizens. “We intend to provide an opportunity to share a situation of mutual knowledge that we believe can benefit the positive evolution of relationships between the realities that operate in the city.”
The event is free but requires confirmation of participation via email through the Pro Loco’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/proloco.lonato). In addition, at some affiliated businesses, it will be possible to purchase the specially designed “Cittadella in Bianco” menu for the occasion.
The Pro Loco invites everyone to unleash their imagination to make this evening unforgettable.
