The mayor of Bardolino, Daniele Bertasi, is currently in China with a delegation of mayors from the province of Verona to promote the area and its excellence, including Bardolino wine. This trip coincides with the twentieth anniversary of the Strategic Partnership between Italy and China and includes meetings with local officials and businesses, facilitated by a busy schedule that spans from Beijing to Shanghai. Bertasi has brought promotional material from the municipality, along with typical products such as extra virgin olive oil from Lake Garda.
During the visit, a friendship pact was signed with the city of Yuncheng, known for its numerous historical and cultural sites. The mayor also organized a remote council meeting despite the time zone differences, demonstrating his ongoing commitment to promoting tourism in his municipality. He is expected to return to Bardolino on Monday, November 18.
