A serious traffic accident occurred yesterday afternoon, Friday, May 23, in Toscolano Maderno, where a 40-year-old driver lost control of his vehicle due to a medical emergency. The incident took place around 2:30 PM near the large parking area overlooking the bay; after veering off course, the car violently struck a parked vehicle. Emergency services were immediately alerted by witnesses, and responders from 118, the Fire Brigade, and the Local Police arrived on the scene.
Upon the arrival of the rescuers, the man was found in critical condition, necessitating the intervention of an air ambulance from Brescia. The helicopter landed at the local sports field to urgently transport the 40-year-old to the Civil Hospital, where he was admitted in critical condition. Investigations to clarify the circumstances of the incident are still ongoing.
