Traffic Jam on Lake Garda After Limone Road Accident

A traffic accident occurred on Friday afternoon around 2:50 PM on SS 45 bis between Limone sul Garda and Campione, involving a van and a car. Two people were injured, with one requiring extrication from the van using hydraulic rescue tools.

Emergency services, including two ambulances, Carabinieri, and Riva del Garda Firefighters, responded to the scene. The incident led to a complete road closure in both directions, causing significant traffic delays in the high Garda area. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
