Recently, Toscolano Maderno signed a memorandum of understanding with the CAI of Salò to enhance the local CAI trails, giving rise to the “Anello del Serà.” This agreement, approved by the municipal council and Mayor Chiara Chimini, aims to create a new Pizzocolo trekking route that will follow existing trails and provide an immersive experience in the area’s natural beauty. Deputy Mayor Vittoria Goi emphasized the importance of this project in ensuring safe and sustainable enjoyment of the mountain environment.
The “Anello del Serà” will be a three-day trek that will pass through iconic locations such as Mount Pizzocolo and other scenic ridges. Additionally, the protocol includes the maintenance of the trails and standardization of signage in collaboration with regional, provincial, and local entities. The project has a duration of three years (2025–2027) and allocates approximately 26,000 euros from the municipality to the CAI. With this initiative, Toscolano Maderno aims to further promote hiking culture in the region.
