Mattia Vezzola, a prominent winemaker and figure at the Costaripa winery, participated as a guest of honor at the “Matinée Technique 2025” conference held in Provence. This event, organized by the Groupe ICV Provence, brought together industry experts to discuss the impact of climate change on viticulture, with a particular focus on issues such as vine water stress and innovation in rootstocks. Vezzola shared his fifty years of experience, emphasizing the importance of a production philosophy akin to that of Champagne wines to achieve excellence in rosé, highlighting the sensory profile of Valtènesi RosaMara.
During the conference, Vezzola outlined the work being done at the Moniga del Garda winery, located in the heart of Valtènesi, emphasizing the historical legacy that dates back to 1896. His participation represents a significant recognition for Valtènesi in the international landscape of dedicated viticulture rosés. “The RosaMara is a project that embodies family tradition and the magic of Lake Garda,” concluded Mattia Vezzola, thus underscoring the unique value of the wines produced in the region.
