A tragic motorcycle accident marked this morning in Lonato, where a 16-year-old boy lost his life. The incident occurred along the provincial road connecting Lonato to Padenghe, shortly after the exit of the bypass, at the intersection with Via Predeschera. The young man, a local resident, reportedly lost control of his motorcycle and collided head-on with a BMW station wagon driven by a 50-year-old man.
After the impact, several witnesses immediately provided assistance while waiting for the ambulance to arrive. Despite the resuscitation attempts made by the paramedics on the scene and the subsequent emergency transport to the hospital in Desenzano, the boy passed away a few hours later due to the severe injuries sustained. Officers from the Traffic Police intervened to carry out the necessary investigations and reconstruct the exact dynamics of the accident. Currently, the driver of the car is not under investigation.
