Two men have been reported for theft of alcoholic beverages and perfumes inside the shopping center “Le Vele” in Desenzano del Garda. Police officers identified a 46-year-old Romanian citizen and a 47-year-old Moroccan, the latter being undocumented and with a criminal record. The investigation was initiated when officers noticed suspicious behavior from one of the men, who was in an Opel Corsa; after attempting to flee, he was apprehended with a bag containing stolen bottles of alcohol and perfumes. A second man was observed stealing products from a nearby supermarket; after a brief chase, he was stopped with the stolen goods. Both have been reported for theft and receiving stolen property. The police chief has issued an expulsion order for the Moroccan, while the Romanian has received a notice prohibiting him from entering Desenzano for three years, with severe penalties for any violations.
