Nelson Mandela Park and Tree Day: Community Persimmon Harvest

On the occasion of the International Day of Trees, a special event titled “Persimmons, What a Passion!” will take place on Saturday, the 22nd, at the Nelson Mandela Park. The morning will be dedicated to this ancient fruit, starting at 11:00 AM, when Stefano Delugan will give a talk on the properties of persimmons and their benefits. Meanwhile, children will have the opportunity to participate in the workshop “Cheeky Persimmons,” led by Lorena Bombardelli, where kids aged 4 and up can create a persimmon tree to color. At 11:30 AM, a community persimmon harvest will take place, involving all participants in picking fruit from the trees in the park. This initiative is organized in collaboration with the Andromeda association, promoting a moment of conviviality and learning centered around this typical fruit. Italian Version
