Frecce Tricolori Photographer Shares Airshow Images at Peschiera Event
Tonight at 9 pm, at the parish theater of San Martino di Peschiera, with entrance in the historic center from via Fontana, “The Charm of the Frecce Tricolori”. The event, free and open to everyone, is organized by the Frecce Tricolori del Garda Club and is aimed at aviation and aerobatics enthusiasts. The guest of the evening will be a non-commissioned officer from the Acrobatic Squadron: Marshal Giorgio Aloisi, official photographer of the Frecce Tricolori. During the event, unique slides taken from inside and outside the aircraft during various airshows will be projected. Unusual images that will be described and commented on by the photographer himself.
Biography and Activities of Giorgio Aloisi
Aloisi is one of the few photographers in the world, usually flying alongside a formation of military jet acrobatic planes. Few know that Giorgio Aloisi is a native of Lake Garda, specifically of Pai, and he married a few months ago Lara Turrini, an entrepreneur from Pescantina, making his home in the Verona area. The mantle of witness was the current commander of the squadron, Maurizio De Rinaldis.
Aloisi began his military career at the age of 17, attending the Non-Commissioned Officers School of Caserta. Later assigned to the 50th Stormo in Piacenza, home of the Tornado bombers, he eventually moved to Rivolto in Friuli, at the 501st Tactical Training Group of the Frecce Tricolori. His role is to capture the maneuvers of the Aermacchi Mb-339 fighters from the cockpit behind the pilot, with the aim of promoting the results of Italy’s high-level aerobatic school worldwide.
Thanks to his photographs, the aerobatic team creates each year a sought-after calendar, not for sale, continuing a tradition that predates the recent calendar mania that has struck us in recent years. During the summer, Aloisi travels the world following the aerobatic team: Europe, America, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and many other international destinations. He has been welcomed along with colleagues by the late King Hussein of Jordan, who was positively impressed by our aerobatic squadron.
Often, Aloisi supports the public relations office of the aerobatic team during visits of VIPs to the Udine base, including German striker Bierhoff and the attractive showgirl Natasha Stevanenko, who even flew for a journalistic report. During the evening, the lakeside photographer, after the projection, will be available to answer questions and satisfy curiosities from the audience.
Gifts and Promotional Materials
At the end of the evening, official collectible prints offered by the Public Relations Office of the Air Force General Staff will be given as gifts to attendees. Among them, the first official photo of the new jet “Eurofighter 2000” (colloquially called EFA), in the Italian version piloted by Maurizio Cheli, test pilot of Alenia. Additionally, images of the new Tornados assigned to the 36th Stormo of Gioia del Colle and large aeronautical posters created for the Vatican City in occasion of the Jubilee will be distributed.
As a token of appreciation for the hospitality, the parish priest of Peschiera will receive a large official 2001 Frecce Tricolori calendar, signed by the team.
