Adolfo Penocchio Art Exhibition at San Giovanni in Solariolo, Matera del Garda

The painting exhibition by master Adolfo Penocchio will remain open until July 21st. It will be inaugurated on the afternoon of Saturday, July 7th, in the enchanting church of San Giovanni in Solariolo, Matera del Garda.

A grand return for the artist, who has been a resident of Valtenesi for years, in Polpenazze, following the success of last year’s exhibition featuring works, primarily watercolors, depicting corners and views of Valtenesi.

The artist and his works

Adolfo Penocchio reappears before his admirers after the public acclaim he received for his exhibition “Divine Scene”, consisting of over 150 panels inspired by Dante’s Divine Comedy.

An extraordinary body of work, created with the mastery and interpretation that only a man with spiritual, religious, and profound feelings like Penocchio’s could transfer onto parchment paper.

A unique piece in its genre, collected in an exceptional volume-gift by Intergreen SPA of Andrea Calubini, a Gardesano passionate about artistic and environmental realities connected to Lake Garda.

The volume and its dedication

Crafted with the narrative flair of Egidio Bonomi, it is a gift to those who appreciate the Gardesano realities.

A “Divine Scene” with a meaningful dedication to Federico Fellini, presents the “characters of Dante on one side, those of our time on the other”.

Thus, as Bonomi notes in his introduction to the volume, the powerful figures of today, flaws and virtues, scandals and sublimations, are portrayed.

The exhibition and the works displayed

Manerba, naturally, will not be represented with these “panels”, but instead, the mastery of this artist will be showcased through his very personal vision of evocative painted corners of this magnificent land of Valtenesi.

The exhibition will be open daily from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM, including holidays.
