Gardesano Tourism Centre Offers Guided Tours and Mountain Hikes
The schedule of excursions organized by the Centro turistico gardesano is particularly packed on the Veronese side of Lake Garda. Today, Thursday the 12th, participants will explore architecture and popular art; meet at 9 a.m. in the square of the monument in Caprino to travel to Porcino, Pazzon, Vilmezzano, Terre Rosse, Gaon, Platano (until 1 p.m.).
On Saturday, July 14th, for “Historical testimonies and the natural environment”, there will be a guided tour of the courtyards in the historic center of Affi: meeting at 5 p.m. in front of the town hall. As an alternative, at the same hour, starting from the parish church of Costermano, a walk through the Valle dei Molini (until 8 p.m.) will be offered.
Hiking among mountain huts and guided visits
On Sunday, July 15th, a guided hike will take place among the Buse and Valvaccara mountain huts. Participants will meet at 9 a.m. in the parking lot of the Prada cable car. On Tuesday, July 17th, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., there will be a visit from Bardolino (meeting in front of the parish church) to the hamlet of Cisano.
On Saturday the 21st, enjoy moonlit enchantments during the night walk among the mountain huts of the Baldo: Pralongo, Zocchi, Colonei di Pesina, Colalunga, Montesèi. Meet at 8:30 p.m. in San Zeno di Montagna, in the square in front of the church, with a flashlight. Return is expected by midnight.
On Sunday the 22nd, for faith and architectural testimonies, a guided visit to Santa Maria di Cisano will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. From 6 to 8 p.m., Cavaion and Affi will host visits to the Pozzo dell’Amore and the Church of San Bartolomeo alla Caorsa (both from 6 to 8 p.m.).
On Tuesday, July 24th, the Valsorda will be explored. Meet at the bus parking lot in Bardolino at 9 a.m. On Friday the 27th, the mountain huts of Prazagano, Cerbiolo, Novezza, and Novezzina, on Monte Baldo, will be visited.
Participants are asked to meet at 9 a.m. in the square of the monument in Caprino. The first part of the journey will be traveled by car. On Saturday, the 28th, there will be a guided tour of Villa Giuliari in Albarè, including the park. Meeting in front of the villa at 5 p.m.
From 6 to 8 p.m., another group can visit the Scaliger castle of Torri and the accompanying museum. On Sunday the 29th, the hike among the mountain huts will continue, this time with Zovello and Brione (meet at 9 a.m. at the Prada cable car).
On Tuesday the 31st, a guided hike to Cordevigo, on Boscon, and in the Tasso Valley is scheduled. Meet at the Pozzo dell’Amore in Cavaion at 9 a.m. Participation is free and open, except for any entry fees at monuments.
