These are not military personnel, but scammers who, from time to time, claim to belong to the finance department, police, fire brigade, or municipal officers.

They often propose subscriptions to non-existent magazines or others that have nothing to do with law enforcement agencies.

Therefore, stay alert and immediately notify the real Carabinieri — just dial 112 — as soon as you suspect you’ve been targeted by someone who, after collecting the money, disappears.
