Paola Barbato Launches New Novel Heart Turned Upside Down in Montichiari
Paola Barbato will present her new novel “Cuore capovolto” at the Museum Lechi in Montichiari on February 28 at 4:30 PM, as part of the municipal Libramente series. The event, which is free to the public, will feature a conversation between the author and Federica Belleri.
The novel follows Alberto Danini, a cybercrime expert who infiltrates online predators by disguising himself as a vulnerable adolescent. When he encounters a case involving a 13-year-old boy and the app “La Rete dei Cuccioli,” Danini is compelled to step out of the shadows and confront the threat directly. Barbato, a Milan-born writer now based in Verona, has a background in comics and novels, including the award-winning “Mani nude,” which inspired a 2024 film.
