Cornuda Initiates Social Support Project for Vulnerable Groups

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, which will last for two years, focuses particularly on improving the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for implementing the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.
Planned Activities and Objectives
The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most disadvantaged groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
