Cornuda Social Support Initiative to Boost Vulnerable Residents’ Well-Being

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project in support of the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, which will have a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and community funds.
Planned Activities and Objectives
The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transport services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers established.
The project seeks to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the people involved, also creating opportunities for meetings and solidarity among citizens.
The Role of Institutions and Associations
The municipal administration has committed to supporting the initiatives, ensuring supervision and coordination services among the various involved components.
Volunteer organizations will play a central role in organizing and managing activities, guaranteeing active participation by the local community.
Overall, the convention represents an example of collaboration between institutions and citizens aimed at safeguarding and improving the quality of life for the most vulnerable individuals.
