Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Supports Vulnerable Groups Collaboration

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the initiative, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which has a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total allocated funds for the initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European Union funds.

Planned Activities and Objectives

The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The project seeks to promote social inclusion and enhance the quality of life of the involved individuals, also creating opportunities for community gathering and solidarity among citizens.

Role of Institutions and Associations

The Municipal Administration has committed to support the initiatives, ensuring surveillance and coordination services among the various involved entities.

Volunteer associations will play a central role in organizing and managing activities, guaranteeing active participation from the local community.
