Agreement in Cornuda

On June 9, 1996, an agreement was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the Municipality. The total allocated budget for the implementation of the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.

Planned Activities and Objectives

The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization activities for the most vulnerable groups. Additionally, social transport services will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The project intends to promote social inclusion and enhance the quality of life for the people involved, creating opportunities for community meetings and solidarity among citizens.
