Cornuda Social Support Project Boosts Quality of Life for Elderly and Disabled

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the Municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and community funds.

Planned Activities and Objectives

The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Social transport services will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for those involved, creating opportunities for meeting and solidarity among citizens.

The Municipal Administration has committed itself to supporting the initiatives, ensuring services for supervision and coordination among the various involved components.
