Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Supports Vulnerable Residents

Cornuda Convention

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved representatives from local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the Comune. The total funds allocated for the implementation of the initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European Union funds.

Planned Activities and Objectives

The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation services will be enhanced, and listening and community centers will be established.

The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the involved individuals, also creating opportunities for community gatherings and solidarity among residents.

The Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by ensuring oversight and coordination among various involved components.

Volunteer organizations will play a central role in organizing and managing the activities, ensuring active participation from the local community.
