Cornuda Social Support Project Promotes Inclusion with €100K Funding

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European Union funds.

Planned Activities and Goals

The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers established.

The project seeks to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life of the people involved, also creating opportunities for community meetings and solidarity.

The Role of Institutions and Associations

The Municipal Administration has committed itself to supporting the initiatives by ensuring oversight services and coordination among the various involved components.

Volunteer organizations will play a central role in organizing and managing the activities, ensuring active participation of the local community.

Overall, the convention represents an example of collaboration between institutions and citizens aimed at protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the most vulnerable populations.
