Cornuda Social Support Project Boosts Elderly and Disabled Well-Being

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, which will last two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total funding allocated for the implementation of the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.
Planned Activities and Objectives
The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will be expanded, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
The project intends to promote social inclusion and enhance the quality of life for the involved individuals, also creating opportunities for community meetings and solidarity among citizens.
Role of Institutions and Associations
The municipal administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by ensuring security services and coordination among the various involved components.
